Refund Policy

RETURNS

All returns must be authorised by DiveBuddy Air before they are sent. Please contact us first at divebuddyair@gmail.com.

Change-of-mind returns (Australia and international)

  • You may request a return within 14 days of the delivery date.
  • The product must be unused, complete, and in its original packaging, packed as received.
  • A restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price applies.
  • The purchaser is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, approved refunds (less the restocking fee) are processed to the original payment method.

Faulty or defective products
If your product arrives faulty or displays a manufacturing defect, contact us and we will repair, replace or refund it in line with our warranty below and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. No restocking fee applies to warranty claim products.

Lithium batteries
Our products contain powerful lithium batteries, which are classed as Dangerous Goods for shipping. Sending them requires a specialised Dangerous Goods courier and correct packing, labelling and documentation. As a result, returning a battery, whether on its own or inside a product, may be difficult, costly, or in some cases not possible, particularly from overseas. Please contact us before attempting to return any item containing a battery so we can advise the best option.

WARRANTY

All DiveBuddy Air products come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase covering the lithium battery, electrics, compressor and accessories.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. These are usually evident within the first hours of use or the first few recharges. The warranty does not cover:

  • operator neglect or misuse
  • accidents or impact damage
  • water damage to the compressor or charging port
  • battery damage caused by incorrect charging or discharging below 10%

If, after inspection, a fault is found to be caused by the operator, DiveBuddy Air may decline the warranty claim and charge for inspection, labour and parts. If a fault is found to be a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the faulty part using the most suitable option for your location.

Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality.

EUROPEAN UNION: 14-DAY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
If your order is delivered within the European Union, you may cancel or return it within 14 days of delivery for any reason, without justification. The item must be returned in the condition you received it, unused, and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase. Return shipping is at your cost. No restocking fee applies to returns made under the EU right of withdrawal. The battery shipping conditions above still apply.

PERFORMANCE
Quoted depths and run times are achievable, as shown in our videos, but results vary with the user’s size, experience, breathing technique and local conditions. DiveBuddy Air does not guarantee every diver will reach the advertised performance.

ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
We make every effort to keep the information on our website, brochures and social media accurate, but specifications and content may contain errors. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, DiveBuddy Air may refuse or cancel orders placed at that price. We are not responsible for our products as listed on other websites or platforms.

These terms may be updated from time to time. Warranty terms start from the date of purchase.
